Nicholas Eva was born in 1996 and is a Melbourne based contemporary dance artist who is always striving to challenge and grow as an artist. Nicholas is very invested in devolving in his own movement vocabulary and to push the boundaries of his body. Most recently Nicholas Eva has completed his third year of full time contemporary dance training at Transit Dance. He has had the opportunity to have multiple performances with different choreographers including Pae-Leach, Kialea-Nadine Williams, Daniel Jaber, Paul Malek, Adam Wheeler, Jo Lloyd. He has also performed at the opening ceremony of esoteric 2017 and have also collaborated to make works at strawberry fields in 2017 and 2018. Professional highlights in Nicholas journey thus far include the remount of Lucy Guerin’s ‘Weather’ (2018) Stephanie Lake’s monumental work ‘Colossus’ as a part of Melbourne’s Fringe festival at the Arts Centre Melbourne and Melbourne international festival (2018 & 2019).
