Looking to join a collaborative and friendly team to contribute in creating something truly special ?

Welcome and thank you for considering to volunteer at Esoteric Festival 2025!

Please take your time to carefully read the information in this application and familiarise yourselves with the expectations when volunteering at Esoteric Festival.

Volunteer applications are open to anyone aged 18 years or over.  

VOLUNTEERING GUIDELINES

1. All volunteers are required to complete a minimum number of hours pending on the role (please refer Volunteers Terms and Conditions sent with the registration reply email).

2. Each shift must be signed off as satisfactorily completed by both your area manager and a volunteer coordinator after each shift is completed.  

3. ALL agreed shifts must be completed for refund.  THERE WILL BE NO PARTIAL REFUNDS AVAILABLE. If you  miss a shift, you will not be eligible for any refunds.  It is your full responsibility to ensure you maintain good health to complete your agreed shifts.

4. Refund will be the price of the volunteer ticket you have purchased, with your full name on it (excluding booking fee). Normal tier ticket will NOT be accepted as volunteer ticket.

5. Important timeline:

        First round of offers will be sent out via email around end of October 2024.
        Second round of offers will be sent out via email around end of November 2024.
        Applications will close late January 2025 (unless all shifts are filled prior).

        Please ensure you check your emails inboxes, including spam, junk and promotional inboxes.

6. If you are successful, you will be given a unique code to purchase a “Volunteer Ticket”.   To secure your spot,  you will have 2 weeks to purchase this ticket (at full price of $440 + BF).  Payment plans will also be available via ZipPay or Afterpay. 

7.  If you cannot finalise your acceptance within 2 weeks of your offer, your position will be release to the next volunteer on the waiting list.

8.  If you have already purchased a normal ticket and you have been accepted to volunteer, it is your responsibility to sell your normal ticket via the approved platform (please refer to our website).

BONUS FOR BUMP IN VOLUNTEERS (BUILD/SETUP)

If you are volunteering for the bump in period (Monday 24th February to Wednesday 5th March), for every 3 extra shifts you complete, you will receive 1 free ticket!

Example:
    – complete 6 consecutive shifts, you will receive 1 extra free ticket (that’s a free ticket for your friend!)
    – complete 9 consecutive shifts, you will receive 2 extra free tickets (that’s 2 free tickets for your friends!)

Conditions applies** and more details will be released later.  If you choose this option, a Vollies Team member will contact you to discuss the details. 
 

BONUS FOR BUMP OUT VOLUNTEERS (PACK DOWN)

If you successfully complete all 3 pre-approved consecutive pack down shifts (range between Tuesday 11th to Friday 14th March 2025), you will also receive an extra $300 refund on top of your ticket refund! 
 
FINALLY —————- IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ENSURE YOU CAN COMMIT TO THE VOLUNTEERS PROGRAM BEFORE APPLYING, so it is fair to your fellow volunteers and our crew who would have to pitch in if you cannot complete your shift.
