Alex is a qualified instructor of 7 year. Initially trained in Rishikesh, India’s heart of Yoga and Meditation, she continued her studies in Eastern philosophy, movement and healing with qualifications in Yin Yoga, Meditation and Shiatsu. Alex’s flow classes are generally interwoven with Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to use the meridians of the body, the seasons and the 5 elements to deepen our body mind connection and allow us to tap into our innate intuition to selfheal.
This class will be themed around the Heart. Connecting with the energy of the Heart, opening up the Heart Chakra and delving into the energy of FIRE element. The element of Fire is most active in Summer and emanates themes and feelings of Joy, Love, Connection, Warmth and Compassion.
This gentle flow class will open the Heart physically and energetically, incorporating some elements of connection between attendees through united breath, movement and an optional partnered inversion.
