Lunar Yoga is an integration of the physical and spiritual worlds. This vinyasa style yoga class follows the moon through the zodiac signs, targeting the specific parts of the body that the signs affect. The moon effects the tides in the ocean and as our bodies consist of 70% water, lunar yoga helps the seekers go inward, transcending the mind, to connect with the phases of the universe.
4 years ago Georgie began practicing yoga and instantly fell in love. Although she recognised the physical benefits yoga has to offer, she fell deeply into the philosophical elements of the practice. In April 2019 she traveled to the home of Yoga, Rishikesh India to complete her RYT 200 Yoga Alliance certification, specialising in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Pranayama. She creates a safe, non-competitive space for her students to dive beneath the surface of their daily lives to find deeper meaning and inspiration. Through her Lunar Yoga classes, she emphasises the importance of being in phase with the moon and ultimately the cycles of the universe. Her classes offer creative sequences with intentional themes, emphasizing the importance of alignment, pranayama, mindfulness, and meditation. Modification and advanced options are made available for new students and experienced yogis so that all can reach their potential. She is honored to teach yoga, helping to bring balance, awareness, health, and happiness into other’s lives. Especially in a festival setting, this is a particularly beautiful way to share and provide grounding and balance.
