BIO:
As a teacher, event coordinator, and DJ, Mickey’s passion lies in creating spaces where people can connect deeply—with each other and within. His journey spans decades of exploration, taking him to India, Thailand, and other inspiring places where he trained with renowned yoga teachers. Mickey completed a rigorous 900-hour teaching diploma from Gita International in 2007, after which he committed himself fully to sharing yoga as both a practice and a lifestyle.
Mickey’s teaching approach is eclectic and inclusive, blending Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Sound Healing, and elements of mindfulness. His classes are both grounding and expansive, challenging the body, educating on the mind-body connection, and nourishing the spirit—all with his signature humor and warmth. For Mickey, yoga is a journey back to one’s essential nature of peace, something he endeavors to remind his students in every session.
In addition to leading international retreats and teaching at festivals, Mickey has spent recent years designing and lecturing in teacher training courses, contributing to programs for Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. Today, his ongoing studies in Advaita Vedanta add a deeper dimension to his teachings, as he integrates traditional wisdom into modern practice.
