Certified at the Melbourne School of Astrology and the School of Traditional Astrology in Horary and Traditional Medical Astrology, Shu runs an international consulting practice, lectures worldwide, teaches for Kepler College, mentors individual students and writes weekly planetary news on The Interpsycle Observator.

In the ancient world, astrology wasn’t just about the study of mathematics and symbolic interpretation of planets. A great deal of importance was placed on the theurgic and ritual practices of this art. The idea of such practices was based on building right relations with planetary spirits and other cosmological allies for the purpose of self cultivation, healing and increasing one’s sense of agency within a determined and ordered cosmos.  In modern times, these ‘hocus-pocus’ practices fell out of favour over the movement towards more scientific fields such as psychology and the magical space in which the planets danced through our lives was disregarded and forgotten.

In this talk, we’ll explore some of the ancient practices of connecting with planetary spirits, why we should bother and how this can help us in our lives from mundane matters like jobs / finances to metaphysical pursuits like psychedelic journeying. Learn more about how we can shape our destiny, using the tools of time and space for co-creation with our planetary allies.
