Duos is the moniker of Brisbane bass music artist, and 8Ball Audio label director James Millis.
An exponent of low-slung hooners, wonky halftime beats, and sharp technical oddities, his love of low frequency immersion has helped establish him as one of the long-standing partisans of quality bass music on the east coast of Australia. Duos dj sets are progressive bass-music joy rides, loaded with a variety of local & international dubplates, bootlegs and dj edits.
He has released music on 8Ball Audio, Plasma Audio, & Rudekat Records, and found himself playing sets at Burning Man, Mushroom Valley, Earth Frequency, Esoteric, Eclipse Festival, Dragon Dreaming, Japan, Koh Tao, & San Francisco.
