Since Hugoe discovered his love for electronic and dance music,
he has travelled the world exploring ambient and natural landscapes to gather inspiration to create a soft and earthy atmosphere with his music, taking samples from environments he perceives inspirational to create the sound the that is Hugoe. However, while living in Japan Hugoe held a residency at multiple clubs , and played over 10 venues across Asia where he developed a liking for the heavier side of techno exploring a faster and darker sound which he incorporates into his DJ Style.
