Shakta (Seb Taylor) is one of the original pioneers of the UK Goa Trance scene, His first Album ‘Silicon trip’ was released in 1997 & is highly regarded as one of the landmarks of the psytrance scene in it’s early years. His Live sets now focus on the classic Shakta releases recorded between 1995 to 1999 which many refer to as the Golden age of trance. Throughout the years Shakta has released on Labels such as Dragonfly, Transient, Phantasm, BNE, Flying Rhino, Matsuri, Phonokol, Alchemy, Nova Tekk, Distance & many more. In 2014 the belgian Label SUNTRIP Records released the latese album of Shakta, a compilation of rare & remastered classic tracks entitled RetroScape’.
