Tahl

With deep seeded roots in the electronic dance community and an old school raver at heart, being involved in Melbourne’s underground dance scene since the late 90’s is a dj named Tahl.

Tahl has been a stalwart in the Melbourne scene playing at all the big name clubs, parties and festivals alike. He started by handing out flyers at Future Entertainment parties, then moved on to helping run some of Melbourne’s most recognised underground parties, Fractured, Bamboozled, Mixed Messages. Famed for his cracking sets that leave DJ & punter jaws not being stroked, but dropping. Tahl has some serious technical ability that glides seamlessly through a stylised blend of Tech House, Breaks, Electro with a splash of hip hop to top it off.

Having grown up in the Mt Dandenongs, once Tahl found the real outdoor festival scene in 2004 (when he experienced Rainbow Serpent for the first time) he knew the platform he was made for was waiting for him. Since then he has played Strawberry Fields, Subsonic, Chi Wow-Wah Town, Rancho Relaxo, Forgotten Kingdom & last yeah played a famed set at Rainbow on the chill stage…

Now in 2016 Tahl has had two years that even surprises him, busier than ever with real, solid gigs with great crews all over Melbourne & some interstate. His most important and loved residency is at Melbourne’s hottest running weekly party… the acclaimed Breakfast Club at 161 every Monday. Tahl is renowned for putting on a real show in the upstairs skybox dj booth each and every Monday.
