Z.i.V is a globally recognized DJ and producer, born in Israel and now based in Byron Bay, Australia. With a career that spans over two decades, Z.i.V’s musical journey began in the underground punk-rock scene before he found his true calling as a DJ in the early 2000s. His first breakthrough came in India, playing trance parties that quickly catapulted him to international stages, including Universo Paralello (Brazil), Symbiosis Gathering (California), Freqs of Nature (Germany), Rainbow Serpent and Subsonic (Australia), and more.
In 2009, Z.i.V’s sound evolved as he transitioned from trance to bass-heavy genres, developing a signature style marked by fresh, genre-blending vibrations. His sets seamlessly combine D’n’B, hip hop, reggae, and various bass-driven styles, often incorporating live elements to create a dynamic, unpredictable experience. Known for his impeccable track selection and ability to keep the crowd on their toes, Z.i.V has supported artists like Bassnectar, Tipper, Excision, Opiuo, and many others.
As the resident DJ and host at Street Level Byron Bay, Z.i.V continues to push boundaries, bringing fresh, inspiring talent to the Australian scene. His sets are a testament to his belief in music as a unifying force, creating spaces where energy, connection, and celebration thrive.
