Stage: Snakepit

All my life I have been surrounded and immersed in music and sound.

I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t playing some sort of instrument. growing up with parents who taught music and played in live bands & ensembles it always felt like home to me. From my father giving me “The Blues Brothers” soundtrack, Public Enemy’s “Yo! Bum Rush the Show”, TISM & Aretha Franklin cassettes to listen to as we road tripped the country looking for waves and adventures as a kid to the inception of Triple J’s Mix-up progam during high school in the 90’s I was entrenched in diverse musical influences.

The turning point was listening to Chemical Brothers live sets in 1997 and beginning a long road of electronic music production exploration.

Drum & Bass and Breakbeat style was and still is my main jam after all these years. There is nothing like cutting up a break, jumping on a synth and looping your self into controlled chaos funky madness.
