‘Grug’, is the solo bass project of Sam Knights, co-founder/director of 8Ball Audio alongside Duos and Bustaflux.

The Grug project focuses on a variety of deep electronic bass music influences combining styles  such as halftime, drum and bass, deep dubstep and left field bass.

Since 2010, Sam has been playing an array of bass music styles under an assortment of alias’s.

Since performing as Sobek across Australia, NZ and the UK over many years, Sam has been focused on pushing his personal boundaries and providing versatile DJ sets under ‘Grug’.
